There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic.
Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using the Brave browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse, then send that data back to a third party, essentially spying on your browsing habits. We strongly recommend you stop using this browser until this problem is corrected. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: Bascially you need the right tool for the job.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Now if you want to record and use mics then and interface makes sense. There is no reason to waste time trying to get anything else to work as far as playing the game goes. Really the RealTone cable is the right tool for playing RockSmith and it's only $30 if you're i the US. Originally posted by thejohnnewton:Nine Divines - And being honest, does your more expensive set up sound any better that just using the RT cable while playing the game? If so in what way? no it doesnt, unfortunately it didnt really change the sound at all, the only thing i felt got better is a better response on notes, probably because the soundcard is better at handling that sort of stuff, i later was told by some people on customforge, that the way the game is build doesnt allow it to run in different audio channels and formats or something like that, so that is why it didnt work, the game just wouldnt detect any devices when i tried, so i wouldnt recommend it for rocksmith, its nice for things like BIAS though Well I can only speak for myself, but when i wanted to play without the realtone cable it was because I was annoyed by the poor audio quality, i ended up buying a soundcard and use some rocksmith modding tools to get mine to work, it is a much more expensive way than with the standard cable, I spend atleast 300$ on it and beside that i own two rocksmith realtone cables from when i purchased both games already so it isnt like i havent supported them Just go ask your mom for the money and stop being a cheapskate.
This is a classic example of "biting the hand that feeds you." The prices have never gone up (other than adjusting for exchange rates) but they run sales several times a year slashing prices nearly in half. They turn a blind eye to CDLC, which has helped a lot of people learn their favorite songs even when the RS team couldn't get the rights. They are active and engaged both here and through Reddit/forums in supporting technical problems. They continue to support this game with patches and additions to the song library after almost seven years. There isn't another game that can compare to this and all you guys can do is look for ways to skim money from them. Originally posted by Lord Whorfin:It astounds me just how cheap some people can be.
